ACM Transactions on the Web (TWEB) is a journal that publishes commentary articles reporting research findings on web content, applications, usage, and related supporting technologies. The scope of TWEB includes, but is not limited to, the following topics: browsers and web interfaces; e-commerce; electronic publishing; hypertext and hypermedia; the semantic web; web engineering; web services; and service-oriented computing XML. Additionally, papers addressing the intersection of broader technologies with the web are also within scope, including accessibility; business service education; knowledge management and representation; mobility and ubiquitous computing; performance and scalability; recommendation systems; search, indexing, classification, retrieval and querying; data mining and analysis; security and privacy; and user interfaces. Papers discussing specific web technologies, applications, content generation, and their management and usage are also included. Furthermore, papers describing new web applications and those concerning underlying technologies are welcome.
