The African Journal of AIDS Research (AJAR) is a peer-reviewed research journal that publishes papers contributing original insights into the social dimensions of HIV/AIDS within African contexts. AJAR includes articles from various disciplines, such as sociology, demography, epidemiology, social geography, economics, psychology, anthropology, philosophy, health communication, media studies, cultural studies, public health, education, nursing science, and social work. We consider papers related to impact, care, prevention, and social planning, as well as articles addressing social theory and the history and politics of HIV/AIDS.
