The journal "Art Inquiry" has been published annually since 1999. The articles are primarily written in English, although other major languages are occasionally represented. Each article is accompanied by abstracts in both English and Polish. This publication is dedicated to the theoretical and historical aspects of fine arts, film, audiovisual arts, theatre, and music. Successive volumes of a monographic nature have addressed topics such as globalization in art, cyberculture, the redefinition of the artist, post-humanism, new communities in art, artistic 'allergies', and the performative aspects of art. Both Polish and international authors contribute to scholarly knowledge in their respective fields and highlight new areas of research.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
