Genetics and Molecular Research (GMR) is maintained by the Ribeirão Preto Research Foundation (FUNDAÇÃO DE PESQUISAS CIENTÍFICAS DE RIBEIRÃO PRETO) and focuses on publishing high-quality research in the fields of genetics and molecular biology. The journal encompasses outstanding original contributions across all areas of biology, reflecting the breadth and interdisciplinary nature of this research. We publish studies on humans as well as model organisms, ranging from mice and flies to plants and bacteria. Our emphasis is on research of broad interest that provides significant insights into one or more biological processes. Topics include, but are not limited to, gene discovery and function, population genetics, evolution, genomic projects, comparative and functional genomics, molecular analysis of simple and complex genetic traits, cancer genetics, medical genetics, disease biology, agricultural genomics, developmental genetics, gene expression, pharmacogenomics, chromosome biology, and regulatory variations in epigenetics.

Journal Citation Format
Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
A journal article with 1 author
A journal article with 2 authors
A journal article with 3 authors
A journal article with 5 or more authors
Books Citation Format
Here are examples of references for authored and edited books.

Sometimes references to web sites should appear directly in the text rather than in the bibliography.
