This paper introduced a novel concept of q ‐rung orthopair fuzzy ( q ‐ROF) metric spaces, in connection with the idea of q ‐ROF sets, which generalizes well‐known concepts of fuzzy metric spaces and intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces. An elaborated example has been provided representing the increase in selection space due to the q ‐ROF metric and limitations for the case of intuitionistic fuzzy metric space. We have presented the definitions of introduced concepts along with examples, so they are way more understandable for readers. Some basic topological results have been defined and proved for q ‐ROF metric space. The concept of q ‐ROF Menger boundedness is introduced, and its application in game theory is presented. Also we have presented the significance of introduced metric compared to existing versions of fuzzy metric in the consequent sections. Baire’s theorem and uniform limit theorem are also established in the perspective of q ‐ROF metric spaces. An application of the obtained results in the field of game theory is also presented to draw the attention of investigators searching new fields of research.

Some Topological Characteristics of <i>q</i>‐Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Metric Space

<i>q</i>‐Rung 正交模糊度量空间的一些拓扑特性

In the context of rapid scientific and technological advancements, engineering is increasingly becoming a vital career choice. However, students from rural areas often encounter significant challenges in their engineering studies and extracurricular activities, leading to higher dropout rates compared to their urban counterparts. To address this issue, we have developed a mathematical model that utilises fuzzy numbers and Newton’s method to strategically prioritize core engineering activities. This model is designed to account for the unpredictability of student performance and aims to bridge the educational gap between urban and rural students. By focusing on essential activities, our approach seeks to enhance academic outcomes and increase success rates for engineering students across diverse educational settings. This innovative method provides a novel solution to the persistent educational disparities, offering a pathway to more equitable and effective engineering education for all students.

An Effective Method of Analysing Student Performance Using Fuzzy Numbers

Coloring of fuzzy graphs has many real-life applications in combinatorial optimization problems like traffic light system, exam scheduling, and register allocation. The coloring of total fuzzy graphs and its applications are well studied. This manuscript discusses the description of 2-quasitotal graph for fuzzy graphs. The proposed concept of 2-quasitotal fuzzy graph is explicated by several numerical examples. Moreover, some theorems related to the properties of 2-quasitotal fuzzy graphs are stated and proved. The results of these theorems are compared with the results obtained from total fuzzy graphs and 1-quasitotal fuzzy graphs. Furthermore, it defines 2-quasitotal coloring of fuzzy total graphs and which is justified.

In this paper, we introduce the notion of fuzzy ideals in fuzzy supra topological spaces. The concept of a fuzzy s-local function is also introduced here by utilizing the s-neighbourhood structure for a fuzzy supra topological space. These concepts are discussed with a view to find new fuzzy supra topologies from the original one. The basic structure, especially a basis for such generated fuzzy supra topologies, and several relations between different fuzzy ideals and fuzzy supra topologies are also studied here. This article provides a representation of the double inverted pendulum system that is shaped and regulated in response to torque application at the top rather than the bottom of the pendulum, given that most researchers have controlled the double inverted pendulum based on the lower part or the base. To achieve this objective, we designed a dynamic Lagrangian conceptualization of the double inverted pendulum and a state feedback representation based on the simple convex polytypic transformation. Finally, we used the fuzzy state feedback approach to linearize the mathematical nonlinear model and to develop a fuzzy controller <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="M1"> <msub> <mrow> <mi>H</mi> </mrow> <mrow> <mi>∞</mi> </mrow> </msub> </math> , given its great ability to simplify nonlinear systems in order to reduce the error rate and to increase precision. In our virtual conceptualization of the inverted pendulum, we used MATLAB software to simulate the movement of the system before applying a command on the upper part of the system to check its stability. Concerning the nonlinearities of the system, we have found a state feedback fuzzy control approach. Overall, the simulation results have shown that the fuzzy state feedback model is very efficient and flexible as it can be modified in different positions.

T-S Fuzzy System Controller for Stabilizing the Double Inverted Pendulum

In this paper, we are thus motivated to define and introduce the extended fuzzy-valued convex functions that can take the singleton fuzzy values <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="M1"><mo>−</mo><mover accent="true"><mi>∞</mi><mrow><mo>˜</mo></mrow></mover></math> and <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="M2"><mo>+</mo><mover accent="true"><mi>∞</mi><mrow><mo>˜</mo></mrow></mover></math> at some points. Such functions can be characterized using the notions of effective domain and epigraph. In this way, we study important concepts such as fuzzy indicator function and fuzzy infimal convolution for extended fuzzy-valued functions. Finally, we introduce the concept of directional generalized derivative for extended above functions and its properties. Eventually, we give a practical example that will illustrate well the directional <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="M3"><mi>g</mi></math> -derivative for the extended fuzzy-valued convex function.

The Investigation of Some Essential Concepts of Extended Fuzzy-Valued Convex Functions and Their Applications

The abnormality of haemoglobin in the human body is the fundamental cause of thalassemia disease. Thalassemia is considered a common genetic blood condition that has received extensive investigation in medical research globally. Likely, inherited disorders will be passed down to children from their parents. If both parents are beta Thalassemia carriers, 25% of their children will have intermediate or major beta thalassemia, which is fatal. An efficient method of beta thalassemia is prenatal screening after couples have received counselling. Identifying Thalassemia carriers involves a costly, time-consuming, and specialized test using quantifiable blood features. However, cost-effective and speedy screening methods must be developed to address this issue. The demise rate due to thalassemia development is outstandingly high around the globe. The passing rate due to thalassemia development can be reduced by following the proper procedure early; otherwise, it significantly impacts the body. A machine learning-based late fusion model proposes the detection of beta-thalassemia carriers by analyzing red blood cells. This study applied the late fusion technique to employ four machine learning algorithms. For identifying the beta-thalassemia carriers, logistics regression, Naïve Bayes, decision tree, and neural network have achieved an accuracy of 94.01%, 93.15%, 97.93%, and 98.07%, respectively, by using the features-based dataset. The late fusion-based ML model achieved an overall accuracy of 96% for detecting beta-thalassemia carriers. The proposed late fusion model performs better than previously published approaches regarding efficiency, reliability, and precision.

Fuzzy-Based Fusion Model for β-Thalassemia Carriers Prediction Using Machine Learning Technique

In this study, we examine the numerical solutions of nonlinear fuzzy fractional partial differential equations under the Caputo derivative utilizing the technique of fuzzy Adomian decomposition. This technique is used as an alternative method for obtaining approximate fuzzy solutions to various types of fractional differential equations and also investigated some new existence and uniqueness results of fuzzy solutions. Some examples are given to support the effectiveness of the proposed technique. We present the numerical results in graphical form for different values of fractional order and uncertainty <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="M1"><mi>γ</mi><mo>∈</mo><mfenced open="[" close="]" separators="|"><mrow><mn>0,1</mn></mrow></mfenced></math> .
