Historical experience suggests that improving employment and working conditions is not achievable without structural transformations in the economy. Through these transformations, surplus labor in informal sectors and activities can be moved to higher-productivity economic activities. In this research paper, the trends in the relationship between structural transformation and employment in Jordan during the period 1990-2022 were analyzed. The research highlights several key findings from the analysis. First, it identifies long-term equilibrium relationships between structural transformation and employment fluctuations. Secondly, the main research variable total production (LY) is statistically significant in all models, but it varied in terms of magnitude and direction. Its impact was positive in the agricultural and industrial models, with an elasticity of approximately 2.2%, and 0.48% respectively. In the services sector, the coefficient of total production was negative 1.4%. Thirdly, the results show that the impact of financial crises, Arab sprig, and COVID-19 on the role of structural transformation in employment was negative as indicated by the significant and negative dummy coefficients. تشير التجربة التاريخية إلى أن تحسن التوظيف وظروف العمل ليس ممكنًا دون تحولات هيكلية في الاقتصاد، ومن خلال هذه التحولات، يمكن نقل العمالة الزائدة في القطاعات والأنشطة غير الرسمية إلى أنشطة اقتصادية ذات إنتاجية أعلى. تم في هذه الورقة البحثية تحليل اتجاهات العلاقة بين التحول الهيكلي والتوظيف في الأردن خلال الفترة 1990-2022، ويسلط البحث الضوء على العديد من النتائج الرئيسية من التحليل. أولاً، يحدد العلاقات التوازنية طويلة الأمد بين التحول الهيكلي وتقلبات التوظيف. ثانياً، إن متغير البحث الرئيسي إجمالي الإنتاج (LY) له دلالة إحصائية في جميع النماذج، لكنه اختلف من حيث المقدار والاتجاه، كان تأثيره إيجابيًا في النموذج الزراعي والصناعي، بمرونة تقدر بحوالي 2.2% و 0.48% على التوالي، أما في قطاع الخدمات فقد بلغ معامل إجمالي الإنتاج سالب 1.4%. ثالثاً، تظهر النتائج أن تأثير الأزمات المالية والربيع العربي وجائحة كوفيد-19 على دور التحول الهيكلي في التوظيف كان سلبيًا كما تشير إليه معاملات المتغير الوهمي ذات القيم السالبة.

Structural Transformation and Employment Trends in Jordan

The study attempts to find out the systematic questions in the mu'allaqat of Imru’ al-Qais and Amr ibn Kulthum, relying on a number of theories, perhaps the most important of which are cultural, post-colonial, and hegemonic studies, whether political or masculine. The study follows the approach of cultural and systematic theory that focuses on the text’s systemic boundaries rather than the linguistic and literary boundaries. The study concludes that Imru' al-Qais and Amr can re-read their poetry in terms of their being political, no matter how different their poetic purposes may be, based on their influence on their cultural and political environment, it concludes by presenting a model or example of the dominant politician practicing the right to speech and memory. تقف الدّراسة على المسائلات النّسقيّة في معلّقة امرئ القيس ومعلّقة عمرو بن كلثوم، معتمدةً على عددٍ من النّظريّات؛ من أهمّها الدّراسات الثّقافيّة وما بعد الكولونياليّة (الاستعماريّة)، والهيمنة، إنْ سياسيّةً، وإنْ ذكوريّةً، متّبعةً المنهج الوصفيّ التحليليّ، كما تناقش عددًا من آراء منظّري النقد الثقافيّ، وتقف على عددٍ من آراء القدماء حول قضايا متباينةٍ في المعلّقتين كاشفةً عن قيمة النقد الثقافيّ في تجليتها. وتهدفُ إلى إعادة قراءة المعلّقتين بعَدِّهما مجموعةً من النظم الثقافيّة أنتجها مركزانِ سياسيّانِ استنادًا إلى نظريّة المضمر النسقيّ في النقد الثقافيّ، ومن ثَمّ تقدّم صورةً أنموذجًا، أو مثالًا للسياسيّ المُهيمِن المُمارس لحقّ الخطاب والتذكّر في تعامله مع القبيلة والمرأة. وتنشطر الدراسة إلى شطرينِ أساسينِ؛ النظريّة والإجراء، ويتفرّع عن الشطر النظريّ حديثٌ عن الهيمنة، وما بعد الاستعماريّة، والنسق الثقافيّ، بهدف رسم الإطار الذي ستسير عليه القراءة، ويتفرّع عن الشطر الإجرائيّ نسقانِ مهمّانِ، هما؛ استدعاء الذاكرة، والهيمنة بين الذكورة والطبقيّة.

The Dominance of the Center and the Control of the Memory: Systematic Reading of the Mu'allaqat of Imru' Al-Qais and Amr Ibn Kulthum

The article explored the experiences of psychologists in delivering CognitiveBehavioral Therapy (CBT) for the treatment of depression and anxiety in Jordan. To gain valuable insights into the challenges, strategies, and perspectives of practitioners in the field, the study employs a well-structured questionnaire to provide a comprehensive view of the CBT delivery process. The study involved a purposive sample of 30 licensed psychologists who have been practicing CBT for a minimum of three years and have experience in treating patients with depression and anxiety in Karak, Jordan. With the help of descriptive and inferential statistics, the study intended to contribute to a better understanding of the nuanced interactions between psychologists and patients within the context of depression and anxiety treatment, ultimately informing the improvement of CBT practice and patient outcomes. The study found a statistically significant variation in psychologists' satisfaction with the way CBT for depression and anxiety is delivered, with a number of areas that need to be improved. Self-care practices, supervision, and a supportive professional network play pivotal roles in sustaining psychologists' emotional and mental health, safeguarding against burnout, and promoting a rewarding career in mental health care. يستكشف المقال تجارب علماء النفس في تقديم العلاج السلوكي المعرفي لعلاج الاكتئاب والقلق في الاردن ، من اجل الحصول على رؤى ذات قيمة حول التحديات والاستراتيجيات ووجهات نظر الممارسين في هذ المجال، تستخدم الدراسة مقابلات عميقة لتقديم رؤية شاملة لعملية تقديم العلاج السلوك المعرفي، شملت الدراسة عينة من 30 طبيب نفسي مرخص يمارسون العلاج السلوكي المعرفي لمدة لا تقل عن ثلاث سنوات ولديهم حبرة في علاج المرضى الذين يعانون من الاكتئاب والقلق ، تهدف الدراسة الى المساهمة في فهم افضل التفاعلات الدقيقة بين علماء النفس والمرضى في علاج الاكتئاب والقلق، مما يؤدي في النهاية الى تحسين ممارسة العلاج السلوكي المعرفي ونتائج المرضى.

Experience of Psychologists in the Delivery of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in Treatment of Depression and Anxiety in Jordan

约旦心理学家在抑郁症和焦虑症治疗中提供认知行为疗法的经验

The poet Zayn al-Din Umar ibn al-Wardi (749 AH) was one of the poets during the early Mamluk era who extensively engaged in social, political, and administrative critique within their poetry. They expressed their personal experiences in these matters, as they were witnesses to the political and social conditions of their society. Objectives: This research aims to investigate and clarify the contents contained within them, the poet's methods of expression, and their artistic techniques. Methodology: The research follows an inductive, descriptive, and analytical approach, as it has included the poems. Recommendations: The research recommends the following: Study of Ibn al-Wardi’s poetry included in this research, a comprehensive and integrated artistic study. &amp; Expanding the study of aspects of social, political and administrative criticism in the era of Ibn al-Wardi in general, which is the first Mamluk era. الشاعر زين الدين عمر بن الورديّ (ت749هـ) من الشعراء في العصر المملوكيّ الأوّل الذين أكثروا من النّقد الاجتماعيّ، والسّياسيّ، والإداريّ في أشعارهم، وعبّروا عن تجربتهم الخاصّة في ذلك، إذ كان شاهداً على أوضاع مجتمعه السّياسية والاجتماعّيّة، وتولّى منصباً في القضاء، فاطّلع على ما فيه، وفي غيره من المناصب من مفاسد، وقدّم في شعره مظاهر مختلفة لذلك. هدف البحث: يأتي هذا البحث ليقف على مظاهر النقد الاجتماعي والسياسي والإداري في شعر ابن الوردي، ومضامينها المختلفة، وبعض طرق التعبير عنها، وأساليبه الفنيّة فيها. منهج البحث: اتّبع البحث المنهج الاستقرائيّ الوصفيّ التحليليّ، فأتى في منهجه على جميع أشعار ابن الوردي الموجودة في ديوانه، الخاصة بموضوع الدراسة، باستثناء مراثي ابن الوردي في الشيخ ابن تيمية التي تناولت جانباً من النقد الاجتماعي والسياسي لوجود تفصيل لها في دراسات سابقة. نتائج البحث: خلص البحث إلى أن ابن الورديّ كان من أكثر شعراء عصره نقداً لأوضاعه السياسية، والاجتماعية، والإدارية. وحفل ديوانه بالأشعار المعبرة عن ذلك، وتنوّعت اتجاهات هذا النقد، ومضامينه، وأساليبه الفنية، فقد نقد السّاسة، وأرباب الدولة في عصره، وبيّن سوء سلوكهم وظلمهم. ونَقَدَ مجتمعه: طوائفه المختلفة، وأخلاق أبنائه، وبيّن صفاتهم السلبية. وكشف عن الفساد الإداري يومذاك، وركّز على الرّشوة، وانتشارها في سبيل الوصول إلى الوظيفة والمنصب. ووظف في ذلك كلّه التناص القرآني، والفنون البديعية، وبخاصة الجناس والتورية، واستحضر التراث، واتّكأ على الصورة الفنية، وأسلوب السخرية. التّوصيات: يوصي البحث بالآتي: دراسة شعر ابن الوردي الذي تضمّنه هذا البحث دراسة فنيّة شاملة متكاملة. والتوسّع في دراسة مظاهر النقد الاجتماعي والسياسي والإداري في عصر ابن الوردي بعامة، وهو العصر المملوكي الأول.

Social, Political, and Administrative Critique in the Poetry of Zayn al-Din Ibn al-Wardi (749 AH)

Background: Individuals affected by narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) are characterized by lack of empathy, grandiosity, low self-esteem, and a need for attention and special treatment that leads to unstable interpersonal relationships, occupational problems, and significant psychosocial distress. Objectives: The study aims to evaluate which Narcissistic Personality (NP) dimensions are the strongest and most significant predictors of NPD. Methods: The present study followed a cross-cultural research design aimed at determining the strongest and most significant predictors of NPD, therefore the shortened version of the Narcissistic Personality Indicators (NPI) questionnaire (NPI-40) developed by Raskin and Terry (1988) was administered online to those individuals interested to explore their personality type, in particular Narcissistic Personality. Results: The total sample population of the present study consisted of 11243 subjects, of which 6425 were males (57.1%) and 4766 (42.4%) were females; 12 (0.1%) respondents did not declare their gender while 40 (0.4%) identified themselves as others. Out of the total sample population, 647 (5,75%) were found to be having NPD. Conclusions: The present study has confirmed the utility of the NPI dimensions in predicting narcissistic personality disorder and has identified Exhibitionism as the strongest and most significant predictor of the NPD. The current findings contribute to the literature by adding more evidence to the concept of narcissism as a multi-dimensional construct. Multiple narcissism measures should be employed in future research to gain a better knowledge of the NPI dimensions as predictors of the NPD. الخلفية النظرية: يتميز الأفراد المصابون باضطراب الشخصية النرجسية بنقص التعاطف، والشعور بالعظمة، وتدني تقدير الذات، والحاجة إلى الحصول على الاهتمام والمعاملة الخاصة، مما يؤدي إلى اضطراب في علاقاتهم الشخصية، وحدوث مشكلات في العمل لديهم، والتعرض للكثير من الضغوط النفسية والاجتماعية. الأهداف: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تقييم أي من أبعاد الشخصية النرجسية أكثر قوة وأهمية في التنبؤ باضطراب الشخصية النرجسية. المنهجية: اتبعت الدراسة الحالية تصميمًا بحثيًا عبر ثقافياً وذلك لتحديد أهم العوامل التي تتنبأ باضطراب الشخصية النرجسية، لذا تم تطبيق النسخة المختصرة من استبيان مؤشرات الشخصية النرجسية بصورة إلكترونية على عينة مكونة من 11243 مستجيباً من خلفيات ثقافية متعددة، وقد مثل الذكور في العينة ما نسبته (57.1%)، في حين مثلت الإناث ما نسبته ( 42.4%).النتائج: أظهرت نتائج الدراسة الحالية أن ما نسبته 5.75)%) من أفراد عينة الدراسة يعانون من اضطراب الشخصية النرجسية، كما أظهرت النتائج القوة التنبؤية للعوامل الدالة على الشخصية النرجسية باضطراب الشخصية النرجسية. الاستنتاجات: أكدت الدراسة الحالية على أهمية استبيان مؤشرات الشخصية النرجسية في التنبؤ باضطراب الشخصية النرجسية، كما حددت سمة الاستعراضية كأقوى وأهم المؤشرات الدالة على اضطراب الشخصية النرجسية. يمكن أن تسهم نتائج الدراسة الحالية في تعزيز الأدب النظري والتطبيقي ذات الصلة باضطراب الشخصية النرجسية كهيكل متعدد الأبعاد، كما وتوصي الدراسية الحالية باستخدام العديد من الأدوات المقننة في الأبحاث المستقبلية لفحص العوامل ذات الصلة بالقدرة التنبؤية الدالة على الشخصية النرجسية.
