This journal covers topics including, but not limited to: Microwave circuits, which encompass RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave amplifiers, oscillators, switches, mixers, and other components implemented in monolithic, hybrid, multi-chip module, and other technologies. Papers on passive components may describe transmission line and waveguide components, including filters, multiplexers, resonators, ferrite, and garnet devices. For applications, papers can describe microwave subsystems for use in communications, radar, aerospace, instrumentation, industrial, and medical applications. Microwave linear and non-linear measurement techniques. Antenna topics include designed and prototyped antennas for operation at all frequencies; multiband antennas, antenna measurement techniques and systems, antenna analysis and design, aperture antenna arrays, adaptive antennas, printed and wire antennas, microstrip, reconfigurable, conformal, and integrated antennas. Computational electromagnetics and synthesis of antenna structures, including phased arrays and antenna design algorithms. Radiowave propagation at all frequencies and environments. Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 1 author

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors

Books Citation Format

Here are examples of references for authored and edited books.

Sometimes references to web sites should appear directly in the text rather than in the bibliography.
