The International Journal of Speech-Language Pathology is an international journal aimed at promoting discussions on a wide range of current clinical and theoretical issues. Submissions may include experimental studies, review articles, and theoretical discussions, as well as research from quantitative and/or qualitative frameworks. Articles may address any area related to communication or swallowing difficulties in children or adults, further exploring issues related to etiology, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, or theoretical frameworks. Articles may include supplementary audio and video files that will be uploaded to the journal's website. At least one special issue on contemporary topics is published annually. Many issues also feature a scientific forum, where one topic is debated by invited international experts.
