In this paper, authors reported selected problems in friction stir welding (FSW) of 5 mm-thick AA7075-T651 and 3 mm-thick Ti6Al4V. The investigation involved macro and micro-structure analysis and mechanical testing. The welded joints of Ti6Al4V were characterized by the presence of backing plate steel fragments and tungsten particles in the bottom part of the stir zone (SZ) and thermo-mechanically affected zone (TMAZ), which resulted in a relatively low value of joint efficiency (60 %). The investigation on AA7075-T651 was concerned with high-speed FSW (HSFSW) using the MX Triflute tool. In all cases, defective welded joints have been obtained (incomplete root penetration, voids in the SZ) with the best result of joint efficiency of about 59 %.

钛合金和铝合金装甲级合金搅拌摩擦焊中的选定问题

Článek shrnuje výsledky výzkumu phishingových hrozeb a útoků za víceleté období. Získané phishingové e-maily podléhají statistické, frekvenční a obsahové analýze; zprávy jsou rozděleny podle obsahu do pěti segmentů: Obchodní, Fond, Charita, Převod a Ostatní. Je popsán experiment s komunikací s phishingovými útočníky; jsou k tomu nastavena nezbytná bezpečnostní opatření. Ochrana proti phishingovým útokům je řešena filtrováním příchozí pošty na klientovi Microsoft Outlook při aplikaci pravidel s klíčovými slovy získanými z jednotlivých segmentů. V širším kontextu je vysvětlena kybernetická bezpečnost emailové komunikace a popsány komerční nástroje obrany proti phishingovým útokům. Využitelnost výsledků výzkumu se předpokládá i při výchově studentů vysokých škol a vzdělávání zaměstnanců firem a organizací.

In the article, the joint analysis of the Bernoulli equations for compressed gas, variations of the supersonic flow parameters of the Prandtl-Meyer expansion fan and the hypothesis of aerofoil dynamic curvature were used to develop a linear and a nonlinear mathematical models describing the occurrence of transonic flutter of aerodynamic control surfaces of supersonic aircraft. The analysis of the obtained mathematical models confirms a theoretical possibility of the occurrence of transonic flutter of aerodynamic control surfaces of supersonic aircraft that is due to the peculiarities of the interaction of shock waves with the angular velocity of elastic bending oscillations of aerodynamic control surfaces.

Mathematical Models of Transonic Flatter of Aerody-namic Control Surfaces of Supersonic Aircraft

The paper proposes a method for minefields mapping by the centimeter resolution imagery from a copter-type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) which is equipped with multispectral camera and thermal infrared camera. The research methodology is the probability fusion by each sensor and the subsequent decision making on the landmine presence/absence. Models for the landmine detection in multispectral and thermal images are considered. The training sample structuration is proposed for the landmine detection reliability enhancement. The local temperature anomalies of landmine size are allocated by sliding window scanning the thermal image. The experimental performance of actual landmines detection at a special test site in Ukraine is described. The probability of correct landmine detection was 0.92 while with a false alarm probability it was 0.45.

Method for Minefields Mapping by Imagery from Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

无人机影像的雷区测绘方法

The article presents an experiment performed in the MasaSword version 6.17.1 environment in evaluating the effectiveness of an attack on ground targets within a close air support mission to an opponent on the march or in a defensive position, or in an attack. The ground unit commander has performed an analysis of available firepower based on aerial reconnaissance and he decided to use the allocated aircraft with different types of ammunition. The key element is the effect of selected weapons and ammunition on the enemy’s targets according to the required level of target elimination. The article also evaluates the possibilities offered by the use of MasaSword in the decision-making process of the commander when making decisions.

Use of a Tactical Decision Support System within the Ground Unit Commander’s Decision-making Process

Nowadays military vehicles play an integral role in the transportation and protection of personnel and equipment ensuring safe and effective operations. The spectrum of threats ranges from high-velocity projectiles to the dangers posed by improvised explosive devices (IEDs). To evaluate the properties of individual materials, a stand for assessing the performance of vehicle armor plates under diverse condition was developed at the Military Institute of Armored and Automotive Technology (WITPIS). The test platform was designed to carry out multi-variant tests involving blast loading scenarios that impact the combat vehicle's chassis. The prepared testing procedure was proven through a series of tests using the Armox 500 plate. The achieved parameters were validated using a numerical model to confirm the acquired measurements.

装甲板测试台的实验与数值验证

Taking into account the uncertainty of the enemy's air actions during the organization of assets protection from their strikes is a decisive factor in the successful task fulfillment by air defense forces. The impact of the enemy's air actions uncertainty is assessed by the task non-fulfillment risks by air defense forces to protect assets from enemy’s strikes. The article describes the method of determining the task non-fulfillment risks by air defense forces based on the use of a fuzzy-multiple approach. The risk is advisable to be taken into account together with the results of evaluating the combat effectiveness of air defense forces when making decisions on the organization of assets protection from the enemy’s air attack.

Risks Assessment Concerning Non-Fulfillment of Asset Protection Tasks from Air Strikes

关于未完成空袭资产保护任务的风险评估

The article reveals the problem of mitigating an insider threat by creating a time-balanced security system in an organization. Based on Markov chain, the authors propose a basic model of interaction in an “organization – insider” system. The article analytically defines a ratio between the time of an insider attack and the time during which the organization’s security system can neutralize it. The authors propose a concept of a multi-level system of organization protection, which takes into account the involved resources and practical skills of employees, as well as security services. At the end of the article, it is concluded that the proposed concept of the organization’s protection system will be effective against potential insider attacks.
