Advances in Production Engineering & Management (APEM journal) is an interdisciplinary international academic journal published quarterly. The main goal of the APEM journal is to present original, high-quality, theoretical, and application-oriented research developments in all areas of production engineering and production management to a broad audience of academics and practitioners. To bridge the gap between theory and practice, applications based on advanced theory and case studies are particularly welcome. For theoretical papers, originality and research contributions are the main factors in the evaluation process. General approaches, formalisms, algorithms, or techniques should be illustrated with significant applications that demonstrate their applicability to real-world problems. Please note that the APEM journal is not specifically intended for studying problems in the finance, economics, business, and banking sectors, even though the methodology in the paper is quality/project management-oriented. Therefore, papers should include a substantial level of engineering issues in the field of manufacturing engineering.

Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 1 author

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors
