The journal "Fungal Biology" publishes original contributions in all areas of fundamental and applied research related to fungi and fungal-like organisms, including oomycetes and slime molds. Research fields include biodegradation, biotechnology, cell and developmental biology, ecology, evolution, genetics, geological mycology, medical mycology, symbiotic interactions (including lichens and mycorrhizae), physiology, plant pathology, secondary metabolites, as well as taxonomy and systematics. Submissions of experimental methods are also welcome, with a preference for contributions that may attract a broad international audience.
