ACM Transactions on Accessible Computing (TACCESS) is a quarterly peer-reviewed journal that focuses on how computer and information technologies impact modern society, particularly for individuals with various disabilities, including age-related disabilities. While new technologies offer many aids and resources for individuals with disabilities, they can also present barriers to use. This journal publishes refereed articles that explore how to overcome these barriers, either by creating new solutions or by designing more inclusive technologies to provide access for individuals with diverse abilities. The journal covers innovative research on the applications of computing and information technologies to provide assistive systems or inclusive technologies. Topics include web accessibility for individuals with visual impairments and blindness, web search explorations for those with limited cognitive abilities, technologies for stroke rehabilitation or dementia care, language support systems for deaf signers or those with limited language abilities, and input systems for individuals who have difficulty using traditional mouse and keyboard systems. The journal is of particular interest to SIGACCESS members and delegates to its affiliated conference (i.e., ASSETS), as well as participants from other international accessibility conferences. It serves as a forum for discussions and information exchange among researchers, clinicians, and educators, including rehabilitation personnel who administer assistive technologies, and policymakers concerned with equitable access to information technologies.

Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
