Basic and Clinical Neuroscience is an international multidisciplinary journal that publishes editorials, original full-length research articles, short communications, reviews, methodological papers, commentaries, perspectives, and 'news and reports' in the broad fields of developmental, molecular, cellular, system, computational, behavioral, cognitive, and clinical neuroscience. No area in the neural-related sciences is excluded from consideration, although priority is given to studies that provide applied insights into the functioning of the nervous system. The journal aims to advance our understanding of the organization and function of the nervous system in health and disease, thereby improving the diagnosis and treatment of neural-related disorders. Manuscripts submitted to Basic and Clinical Neuroscience should describe novel results generated by experiments guided by clearly defined aims or hypotheses. The journal seeks to foster serious ties in interdisciplinary communication, accessibility to a broad readership within Iran and the region, as well as in all other international academic sites, an effective peer review process, and independence from all possible non-scientific interests. Basic and Clinical Neuroscience also strives to empower national, regional, and international collaborative networks in the field of neuroscience in Iran, the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa, and to be the voice of the Iranian and regional neuroscience community in the world of neuroscientists. In this way, the journal encourages the submission of editorials, review papers, commentaries, methodological notes, and perspectives that address this scope.

Journal Citation Format
Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
A journal article with 1 author
A journal article with 2 authors
A journal article with 3 authors
A journal article with 5 or more authors
