The Annals of Functional Analysis is a peer-reviewed electronic journal published by BIRKHÄUSER on behalf of the TUSI Mathematical Research Group. It publishes high-quality papers covering all areas of functional analysis and all modern relevant topics, such as operator theory, showcasing profound results, new ideas, and significant impacts. The journal typically accepts original research papers of no more than 18 pages, while longer papers may be submitted to the Banach Journal of Mathematical Analysis or Advances in Operator Theory. Each year, the Annals of Functional Analysis awards the Best Paper Prize, which is given to outstanding papers published in the previous two years, with the review committee composed of selected editors from the journal.

Journal Citation Format
Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
A journal article with 1 author
A journal article with 2 authors
A journal article with 3 authors
A journal article with 5 or more authors

Here are examples of references for authored and edited books.
