Acta Geochimica is an international forum for fundamental research in geochemistry, using chemical tools and principles to explain the mechanisms behind major geological systems, such as the crust, oceans, and the entire solar system. The journal covers various processes, including mantle convection, planetary formation, and the origins of granite and basalt. It focuses on, but is not limited to, the following areas: • Cosmochemistry • Mantle Geochemistry • Ore Deposit Geochemistry • Organic Geochemistry • Environmental Geochemistry • Computational Geochemistry • Isotope Geochemistry • Nanogeochemistry. All research articles published in this journal undergo rigorous peer review. In addition to original research articles, Acta Geochimica also publishes commentaries and brief communications aimed at rapidly disseminating timely research findings and providing comprehensive reviews on emerging topics across all fields of geochemistry.

Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 1 author

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors
