《自闭症和发育障碍评论杂志》发表原创文章,对自闭症谱系障碍的广泛跨学科研究领域的主题进行批判性评论。主题范围从基础到应用,包括但不限于遗传学、神经科学、诊断、应用行为分析、精神药理学、发病率、患病率、病因、鉴别诊断、治疗、治疗效果测量、教育、感知和认知。贯穿整个生命周期的主题是适当的。此外,鉴于合并症的高发病率,睡眠障碍、喂养问题、运动困难、多动症、焦虑、抑郁和其他自闭症谱系障碍的结合是适当的。正如编辑委员会所反映的那样,该杂志的目标是面向国际读者。
