In order to optimize the ventilation effect of ammonia leakage in the refrigeration machinery room, a food processing enterprise is selected as the subject investigated.The velocity and concentration field distribution during the process of ammonia leakage are discussed through simulation of refrigeration machinery room using CFD software.The ventilation system of the room is optimized in three aspects which are named air distribution, ventilation volume and discharge outlet.The influence of the ammonia alarm system through ventilation is also analyzed.The results show that it will be better to set the discharge outlet at the top of the plant than at the side of the wall, and the smaller of the distance between the air outlet and the ammonia gathering area, the better of the effect of ventilation will be.The air flow can be improved and the vortex flow can be reduced if the ventilation volume, the number of air vents and the exhaust velocity are reasonably arranged.Not only the function of the alarm could be ensured, but also the scope of the detection area could be enlarged if the detectors are set on the ceiling of the refrigeration units or the ammonia storage vessel.

In order to further promote the theoretical research on the effective financial support for the high-quality development of strategic emerging industries, this paper reviews the research status at home and abroad on the mechanism and path, influence effect, support efficiency, support system, problems and countermeasures of financial support for the development of strategic emerging industries. At present, the research on financial support for the development of strategic emerging industries at home and abroad is mainly conducted from the perspective of financial support and financing. Under the two perspectives, the influence effect can be subdivided into direct financing, indirect financing and comprehensive financing, and the research on support efficiency can be divided into national and regional studies. The support system can be divided into three aspects: horizontal, vertical, and horizontal and vertical synthesis. Problems and countermeasures are subdivided into four aspects: countermeasures, policies, strategies and optimization paths. Future research directions include: Deepening the mechanism of financial support for strategic emerging industries from the perspective of financing; Expand the research of vertical support system for the development of strategic emerging industries.

A Systematic Literature Review on Financial Support for the Development of Strategic Emerging Industries

This proposal presents the Sociotechnical Construction of Risks, Ergonomics, and the two principles of the Proactive Approach to Safety, Risks, and Emergencies, the Structured Sociotechnical Approach and Dynamics of Proactive Safety intending to complement traditional risk assessments, and prevent and Mitigating Major and Fatal Negative Events, the in organizations such as cases of the explosion of the space shuttle Challenger, the nuclear accident in Fukushima, the Texas City Refinery and the explosion in the Port of Beirut, among others. To propose these two principles, case studies were developed at Fiocruz, and in organizations, sectors, and activities, a bibliographic review on theses, dissertations, reports from regulatory bodies, books, scientific articles, and media articles, on major and fatal negative events, and ergonomics, socio-technical approach, and resilience engineering. A tragedy prevention course was created, with four free online consultation modules, based on cases of major negative events. These principles redirect the focus from human error to Focus on the Structured Sociotechnical System and Focus on the Dynamics of Proactive Safety. It is proposed that these two principles can provide us with bases for analysis, to prevent and minimize Major and Fatal Negative Events, and are a complement to traditional risk assessments.

The Sociotechnical Construction of Risks, and Principles of the Proactive Approach to Safety

This paper examines the impact of fiscal pressure on the degree of deviation from budgetary revenue based on provincial panel data from 2011 to 2020. The results show that fiscal pressure has a positive impact on the deviation of local government budget revenues, with the impact of fiscal pressure on the deviation of non-tax revenues significantly higher than that of tax revenues; the positive impact of fiscal pressure on the deviation of local government budget revenues is more obvious in regions with higher reliance on land finance; the proportion of tax revenues in fiscal revenues negatively moderates the impact of fiscal pressure on the deviation of local government budget revenues. The impact of fiscal pressure on the degree of deviation of local government budgetary revenue is negatively moderated by the share of tax revenue in fiscal revenue.

A Study on the Impact of Fiscal Pressure on the Deviation of Local Government Budget Revenues

This paper evaluates the effect of income tax preferences for digital economy enterprises based on the data of digital economy enterprises in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei regions from 2017-2021 (in line with the narrower caliber of the National Bureau of Statistics). The research results show that corporate income tax incentives have a significant impact on R&amp;D investment of digital economy enterprises and provide a better incentive for digital economy enterprises to increase their R&amp;D investment efforts. Tax incentives are heterogeneous in nature of property rights for digital economy enterprises, among which there is a greater promotion for private enterprises. Finally, this paper further expands the study on the factors influencing the innovative capability of enterprises and proposes policy recommendations on the relationship between tax preferences and innovation capability of enterprises based on the empirical results.

Analysis of the Impact of Corporate Income Tax Incentives on Digital Economy Enterprises

Every state's priority is public safety. In the modern world, that often needs them to work with other States. This study assesses the role of civil protection mechanisms in effective emergency management operations in public organizations based on the European perspective. Data was collected from 392 different technocrats from government civil protection agencies in Greece using an online questionnaire. The study revealed that civil protection experts positively influence effective emergency management operations in public organizations. The results revealed that early warning systems have an influence on effective emergency management operations in public organizations. Disaster risk forecasting has a positive influence on effective emergency management operations in public organizations. According to the study, crises and catastrophes have compelled the EU to improve civil protection coordination throughout the continent and its ability to conduct operations both inside and outside of Europe. It's not clear whether these cooperative EU agreements are going to succeed because national civil defense organizations aren't always similar and there isn't always enough trust between the organizations involved. This is especially true in light of recent global crises in the EU, such as the refugee crisis, terrorist attacks, and natural. It is important for public organizations across Europe to focus on enhancing early disaster warning systems, the enhancing of civil protection experts and improving disaster planning to promote effective management of emergencies.

Effectiveness to the Emergency Management in Public Organizations: A Paradigm from a European Civil Protection Mechanism

In any retail store, it is necessary to maintain ethical behavior by the retailers by providing accurate information to the customer about the usefulness and side effects of the product, not inducing people in an unethical way to the customer so that the retailer can attract the attention of the customers. In addition, the dishonest behavior of drugstore retailers may lead to a massive health crisis in the community. Considering the novelty and significance of this issue, the current study aims to analyze the ethical behavior disruption of drugstore retailers. Quantitative research design has been utilized to analyze drugstore retailers' ethical behavior disruption from the viewpoint of consumers. A structured questionnaire was delivered to 219 customers using a convenient sampling technique. The PLS-SEM was utilized for data analysis. It is identified that the independent variables like easy access to antibiotics, charging higher prices, and selling expired medicine are responsible for the disruption of the ethical behavior of the drugstore retailers. In conclusion, it is noteworthy that the drugstore retailers in Bangladesh are not maintaining ethical behavior towards the customers, which is unacceptable. The paper strives to assist policymakers, particularly the Ministry of Health, in formulating strategies to combat the unethical practices of drugstore sellers in Bangladesh. Furthermore, future research might be conducted from the standpoint of different retailers.

Drivers of Ethical Behavior Disruption among Drugstore Retailers: An Investigation on Customers' Perspective

Environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects have garnered considerable attention in corporate management on a global scale in recent times. As a result, researchers have paid notable attention to this subject. Though numerous studies have already explored various aspects of ESG in the context of emerging economies like Bangladesh, there is limited evidence on whether ESG practices promote customer brand perception (CBP). This study measures the impact of ESG on CBP deploying structural equation modeling in an emerging economy by analyzing the responses of 450 samples in accordance with the philosophies of triple bottom line theory and signaling theory. The results indicate that sustainability responsiveness, social and environmental disclosure practices, and CBP are positively impacted. Customers’ enhanced level of sustainability responsiveness strengthens the influence of governance disclosures in choosing a brand, while weakens the impact of environmental and social disclosures. However, the study concludes there is no significant effect of governance disclosures on CBP. The findings also reveal that social issues have the strongest impact on CBP among the ESG parameters. As sustainability concerns increase, customers either demand more sustainability performance from brands or their impression of the brands declines correspondingly. The study outlines a customer’s viewpoint on the requirements of ESG and sustainability concerns, which will contribute organizations to adopt appropriate ESG strategies and address sustainability challenges to win over customers and strengthen their brand image.

Does Environmental, Social and Governance Disclosure Practices Promote Customer Brand Perception? The Moderating Effect of Customers’ Sustainability Responsiveness

In recent years, fire accidents on Ro-Ro ships have led to numerous fatalities and significant economic losses. The response of the crew and the ship's protection systems are crucial in managing these incidents and mitigating their consequences. To assess fire safety improvements, this study has focused on developing and quantifying a risk model that captures the dynamics of a fire starting in a Ro-Ro space. Various risk modelling techniques were reviewed to construct the model, which was then quantified using historical data, simulations, and expert judgments. A Delphi-based, fully digital approach to expert elicitation was introduced, utilizing Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Excel-based questionnaires. This method ensured full anonymity for the experts, reducing the risk of group bias and eliminating the need for travel. To enhance understanding and verify the results, uncertainty and sensitivity analyses were performed. They revealed that the potential loss of life deviated, with 90% confidence, from the calculated mean value by less than 26%. Overall, the questionnaire-based method proved effective for expert elicitation and for quantifying nodes in the risk model, demonstrating its utility in the risk assessment process.

Fire Risk Model for Fires in Ro-Ro Ship Ro-Ro Spaces

Understanding the relationship between foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows and economic growth is essential for enhancing output, introducing new technologies, and developing managerial capabilities. The study addresses a gap in the literature regarding FDI and economic growth in low- and middle-income European countries from 1995 to 2022. Employing various econometric methods, including Dynamic GMM, Hausman-Taylor IVs, Fixed Effects, Pooled OLS, and Random Effects, the analysis reveals a negative relationship between economic growth and FDI inflows. The finding suggests that FDI does not necessarily lead to improved economic performance. Additionally, trade openness negatively impacts FDI levels, while increased R&amp;D and inflation positively influence these dynamics. The effects of tertiary education, ease of doing business, and corruption control are mixed, with strong rule of law being a significant attractor for FDI. These insights provide valuable guidance for policymakers in low- and middle-income European countries aiming to formulate effective strategies for attracting foreign investments and fostering economic growth.
