The African Journal of Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure (AJHTL) is a proudly African, independent, privately owned multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal, published quarterly and not aligned with any institution. We encourage academic debate and are fully electronic, dedicated to enhancing the depth of research across a range of related disciplines, with the primary objective of promoting research. New researchers are especially welcome to submit articles for consideration. Our articles are read by scholars, students, and industry professionals globally. Only authors may submit papers for review, and only original research is considered for publication. Articles that have been published elsewhere or are currently under consideration for publication elsewhere must not be submitted for review. Publication in the journal may take from about one month to nine months. The review process is competitive, with less than 69% of submitted papers ultimately accepted for publication. Authors must ensure that their papers meet the rigorous academic standards of scholarly research. Authors must have reviewed and cited critical and recent English references related to their research paper. Where references in other languages are used, they must be translated. Articles must be edited for English language by the authors prior to submission to the journal.

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors
