ABSTRAK Waktu reaksi adalah w aktu yang diperlukan oleh mahluk hidup untuk berespon secara sengaja terhadap stimulus yang diberikan . Waktu reaksi ini mampu menunjukkan kemampuan koordinasi sistem saraf motorik dan sensorik.  Waktu reaksi akan menurun saat terjadi penurunan fungsi sistem saraf. Salah satu vitamin yang dapat menjaga fungsi saraf adalah  k ombinasi vitamin oral B1, B6 dan B12. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efek pemberian vitamin oral B1, B6, dan B12 terhadap waktu reaksi. Desain penelitian menggunakan uji acak terkendali double blind. Subyek sebanyak 20 orang laki-laki dan perempuan usia 18-20 tahun, yang terbagi secara acak 10 orang sebagai kelompok intervensi dan 10 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol.  Kombinasi vitamin oral B1 100 mg, B6 200 mg dan B12 200 mcg diberikan dalam bentuk kapsul dan diminum satu kali sehari selama 14 hari.  Subyek kelompok kontrol diberi kapsul yang berisi amylum lactose sebagai plasebo.  Pada hari ke-14, dilakukan pengukuran waktu reaksi sederhana dan waktu reaksi pilihan menggunakan alat pengukur kecepatan respon.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan bermakna waktu reaksi sederhana dan waktu reaksi pilihan antara k elompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol.  Akan tetapi, pada sub analisis berdasarkan gender, subyek perempuan kelompok intervensi mempunyai waktu reaksi pilihan yang lebih cepat dibandingkan kontrol. This reaction time is a good indicator of sensor imotor nervous system coordination. The reaction time will decrease when there is a decrease in nervous system function. One of the vitamins that can maintain nerve function is a n combination of oral vitamins B1, B6 and B12. This study aim ed to examine the effect of oral vitamins B1, B6, and B12 on reaction time. The study design used a double blind randomized controlled trial. Subjects were 20 men and women aged 18-20 years, which were randomly divided 10 people as the intervention group and 10 people as the control group. The combination of oral vitamins B1 100 mg, B6 200 mg and B12 200 mcg were given in capsule form and taken once a day for 14 days. The control group subjects w ere given a capsule containing amylum lactose as a placebo. On day 14 th , a simple and selected reaction time was measured using a response velocity measuring device. The results of this study indicate that there were no significant difference in simple and selected reaction time between the intervention group and the control group. In a further analysis stratified by gender , female subjects in the intervention group had a faster selected reaction time than controls .  Keywords : Reaction Time, Oral Vitamin B1, B6, B12, Randomized Controlled Trial

口服维生素B1、B6和B12组合对健康年轻成人反应时间的影响：一项随机对照研究

ABSTRAK Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) adalah strain Staphylococcus aureus yang resisten terhadap antibiotik golongan beta laktam . Pasien karier MRSA dinilai meningkatkan kejadian komplikasi paska operasi pada pasien ortopedi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dan prevalensi skrining MRSA pada pasien ortopedi di Bangsal Bedah R S X Riau.  Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan rancangan cross-sectional menggunakan data primer dan sekunder responden.  Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 34 responden di Bangsal Bedah RS X Riau sejak Januari 2019 – Maret 2020.  Persentase re sponden yang memiliki faktor risiko sebagai karier MRSA yaitu: 5,9% dengan riwayat operasi 3 bulan terakhir ; 2,9% dengan riwayat penggunaan antibiotik dalam 6 bulan terakhi r, 29,4% dengan luka terbuka akut , 11,8% dengan riwayat rawat inap , 0% dengan riwayat kultur MRSA , dan 17,6% merupakan rujukan rumah sakit lai n. Pada responden berisiko tersebut d itemukan kolonisasi Staphylococcus aureus pada 9 orang responden (26%) di bagian nasal anterior dan tidak ditemukan adanya bakteri MRSA (0%). Kesimpulan yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah tidak ditemukannya bakteri MRSA pada seluruh sampel yang diperiksa . Kata Kunci: MRSA, Ortopedi, Skrining, Staphylococcus aureus.. ABSTRACT Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a strain of Staphylococcus aureus that is resistant to beta-lactam antibiotics. Patients with MRSA carrier are considered to increase the incidence of post-operative complications in orthopedic patients. This study aim ed to determine the prevalence and illustration of MRSA screening in orthopedic patients in X Hospital Riau . This research method was descriptive with cross-sectional design using primary and secondary data of respondents. This study was conducted on 34 respondents in s urgical w ard at X Hospital Riau from January 2019 to March 2020. The percentage of respondents who had risk factors as MRSA carriers were: 5.9% with a history of surgery in the last 3 months; 2.9% with a history of antibiotic use in the last 6 months, 29.4% with an acute open wound, 11.8% with a history of hospitalization, 0% with a history of MRSA culture, and 17.6% a referral to another hospital. Colonization of Staphylococcus aureus was found in 9 respondents (26%) in the anterior part of the nose and no MRSA bacteria were found (0%). The conclusion from this study is that MRSA bacteria were not found in all samples because only a few respondents had risk factors for becoming MRSA carrier. GAMBARAN SKRINING METHICILLIN-RESISTANT STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS (MRSA) PADA PASIEN ORTOPEDI DI RS X RIAU

在RIAU的X医院接受骨科治疗的患者中耐甲氧西林金黄色葡萄球菌(MRSA)的筛查情况

ABSTRAK Prosedur penggantian sendi lutut telah banyak dilakukan untuk merawat pasien dengan kelainan anatomi yang berat d isertai keterbaasan fungsi lutut. S aat melaksanakan reseksi tibia proksimal, ahli bedah harus menghindari pe motongan tulang yang tidak perlu. Oleh karena itu batasan reseksi pada tibia proksimal perlu dipastikan untuk mengembalikan garis sendi dan tidak melewati tepi atas fibula untuk menghindari lesi saraf per i neal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mempelajari jarak rata-rata antara tuberositas tibia dan tepi atas fibula. Jarak tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman kasar bagi ahli bedah untuk menentukan tingkat maksimum pemotongan tibialis proksimal dari garis sendi . Penelitian ini mengukur jarak antara tepi atas fibula ke tuberositas tibia dari foto polos lateral lutut. Pengukuran dilakukan terhadap radiografi lateral lutut semua pasien yang menjalani operasi artroplasti lutut total di RS X Surakarta periode Januari 2018 - Januari 2019. Pengukuran menggunakan software Horos . Penelitian ini menggunakan 200 sampel, 151 wanita dan 49 pria. Jarak rata-rata keseluruhan antara ujung kepala fibula dan tuberositas tibia adalah 18,57 m m;  19,37 mm pada wanita dan 18,31 mm pada pria. Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara pasien pria dan wanita. Kami merekomendasikan jarak 18,57 mm dari tuberositas tibia sebagai batas reseksi maksimum pada pemotongan tibialis proksimal selama TKR. Jarak ini juga dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman kasar untuk menentukan tingkat garis sendi dengan menambahkan 10 mm pada jarak tersebut . Kata kunci : Tuberositas Tibia, Reseksi Tibia, Batas Garis Sendi, Penggantian Sendi Lutut Total ABSTRACT Total knee replacement (TKR) procedure has been widely performed to treat patients with severe deformity and limited knee function. During resection of the proximal tibia, the surgeon has to avoid unnecessary bone loss. Therefore the resection limitation on the proximal tibia needs to be confirmed to restore the native joint line and not to more distal than the tip of the fibular head to avoid peroneal nerve lesion. The purpose of this work is to study the average distance between the tuberosity of the tibia and the tip of the head of the fibula. The distance can be used as a rough guide for the surgeon to define the maximum level of proximal tibial cut and the level of the native joint line. This study measures the distance between the tip of the fibula head to the tibial tuberosity from the lateral plain radiograph of the knee. The measurement was performed to the lateral radiograph of the knee of all patients (200 knees) who received total knee arthroplasty surgery at X Hospital, Surakarta from January 2018 – January 2019. Horos software was used for measurement. There were 200 samples, 151 female and 49 male patients. The overall average distance between the tip of the fibular head and tibial tuberosity is 18,57 mm; 19,37 mm in female and 18.31 mmin male. There was no significant difference between male and female patients. We recommend the distance of 18,57 mm from tibial tuberosity as the maximum resection limit in proximal tibial cutting during TKR. This distance also could be used as a rough guide to defining a level of the joint line by adding 10 mm to it. ABSTRAK Dislokasi fecet cervical pasca trauma terjadi sekitar 6.7% dari cedera cervical spine. Dislokasi facet adalah bagian dari cedera cervical tipe fleksi atau distraksi. Cedera fleksi distraksi digambarkan sebagai pergeseran ke anterior dari korpus vertebra akibat tarikan atau pergeseran dari elemen posterior disertai dengan dislokasi atau fraktur faset. Sudah diketahui bahwa dislokasi faset akan merobek kompleks ligamen posterior dan kapsul faset dan memerlukan operasi stabilisasi sebagai terapi definitif. Ada banyak metode untuk stabilisasi dislokasi cervical. Kami melaporkan 2 pasien, keduanya didiagnosa dengan bilateral facet joint dislocation dari VC5-6 yang kami lakukan operasi anterior cervical discectomy dan fusion (ACDF) dengan hasil 5 bulan pasca operasi, pasien masih bertahan hidup dengan kondisi neurologis yang sama seperti sebelum operasi saat pasien datang ke rumah sakit. Keuntungan dari ACDF adalah durasi operasi yang pendek, nyeri paska operasi yang ringan sampai sedang, perdarahan yang sedikit, dan memberikan rasa nyaman untuk anestesi karena posisi opeerasi terlentang dengan pernapasan pasien yang abdominal. Kata Kunci: Dislokasi Faset Servikal,Dislokasi Sendi Faset Bilateral, Anterior Cervical Discectomy Fusion ABSTRACT T raumatic cervical facet dislocations represent 6.7% of substantial cervical spine injuries. Facet dislocations are part of a spectrum of cervical spine flexion / distraction - type injuries. Flexion distraction injuries are described as anterior displacement of the vertebral body due to tensile or shear failure of the posterior elements coupled with facet fractures or dislocations . It is agreed that bilateral facet dislocations (DF3) disrupt the posterior ligamentous complex and facet capsule and require operative stabilization as the definitive treatment . There are some methods to stabilized the dislocated cervical. We report 2 patient, b oth patient s diagnosed with bilateral facet joint dislocation of VC5-6 that we perform a nterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) with result 5 months follow up, patient survive with neurologist condition same as patient come to hospital. The benefit of ACDF is short length of surgery, mild to moderate postoperative pain, minimal bleeding, and make easy for anesthesia due to supine position with abdominal respiration . PATIENT SURVIVAL AFTER ANTERIOR APPROACH FOR CERVICAL CORRECTION AND STABILIZATION IN LOWER CERVICAL TRAUMA (FACET JOINT DISLOCATION): REPORT IN 2 CASES

ABSTRAK Komponen kafein, asam organik volatil, non volatil, fenol, dan senyawa aromatik dalam ekstrak biji kopi telah diketahui memiliki efek antimikroba terhadap bakteri Gram positif dan negatif. Bakteri yang sering menyebabkan infeksi diantaranya Staphylococcus epidermidis dan Salmonella typhi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak etanol 70% biji kopi robusta (Coffea canephora) terhadap Staphylococcus epidermidis dan Salmonella typhi . Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimental laboratorium dengan metode post test only controlled group design . Metode yan g digunakan adalah m etode difusi agar (disc diffusion Kirby and Bauer). Sampel dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok, yaitu kontrol (+) tetrasiklin/kloramfenikol, kontrol (-) aquades, kelompok perlakuan ekstrak biji kopi robusta berbagai konsentrasi P1=3,125%, P2=6,25%, P3=12,5% dan P4=25% dengan 4 pengulangan sesuai rumus Federer. A nalisis data menggunakan uji Kruskal Wallis dan uji Mann - Whitney. Hasil penelitian untuk uji Kruskal Wallis terhadap kedua bakteri didapatkan p=0,001. Hasil uji Mann-Whitney terhadap kedua bakteri didapatkan p kelompok kontrol (-) dibandingkan semua kelompok perlakuan p<0,05 yang berarti ekstrak biji kopi robusta memiliki aktivitas menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa e kstrak biji kopi robusta memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Staphylococcus epidermidis dan Salmonella typhi pada konsentrasi 3,125%, 6,25%, 12,5%, dan 25%. This study aim ed to determine the antibacterial activity of 70% ethanol extract of r obusta (Coffea canephora) coffee beans against Staphylococcus epidermidis and Salmonella typhi. This research is an experimental laboratory with a post test only controlled group design method. Samples were divided into 6 groups, (+) control tetracycline/chloramphenicol, (-) control aquades, robusta coffee bean extract treatment groups with various concentrations of P1=3.125%, P2=6.25%, P3=12.5% and P4=25% with 4 repetitions according to the Federer formula. Data analysis used the Kruskal Wallis test and the Mann-Whitney test. The results of the study for the Kruskal Wallis test on both bacteria obtained p=0.001. Mann-Whitney test results on the two bacteria obtained p control group (-) compared to all treatment groups p<0.05, which means robusta coffee bean extract has an activity that inhibits bacterial growth. This study conclude d r obusta coffee bean extract has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus epidermidis and Salmonella typhi at 3,125%, 6,25%, 12,5%, dan 25% concentrations. ABSTRACT&#x0D; Femoral shaft fractures are severe injuries and are often associated with a high impact trauma mechanism, frequently seen in multiple injured patients. In contrast an indirect trauma mechanism can lead to a complex femoral shaft fracture especially in elderly patients with minor bone stock quality. Hence management of femoral shaft fractures is often directed by co-morbidities, additional injuries and the medical condition of the patient. Timing of fracture stabilization is depended on the overall medical condition of the patient, but definite fracture fixation can often be implemented in the early total care concept in management of multiple injured patients. Femoral shaft fractures (FSF) typically occur in a bimodal distribution, high-energy trauma in the young population, and lower energy trauma in the elderly population. FSFs are also associated with other comorbidities necessitating a thorough advanced trauma life support (ATLS) assessment and interdisciplinary care. Intramedullary nailing (IMN) is the most common treatment of physiologically stable patients. The goal of fixation is early healing and long-term functional recovery. Treatment of modern-day femoral shaft fractures results in excellent outcomes.&#x0D; &#x0D; ABSTRAK&#x0D; Fraktur Shaft Femur (FSF) merupakan cedera yang parah dan sering dikaitkan dengan mekanisme trauma high-impact, sering dijumpai pada pasien dengan cedera multipel. Sebaliknya mekanisme trauma tidak langsung dapat menyebabkan FSF yang kompleks terutama pada pasien usia lanjut dengan kualitas cadangan tulang yang minim. Oleh karena itu penatalaksanaan FSF sering disesuaikan dengan penyakit penyerta, cedera tambahan, dan kondisi medis pasien. Waktu dilakukannya stabilisasi fraktur bergantung pada kondisi medis pasien secara keseluruhan, tetapi fiksasi fraktur yang definitif sering kali dapat dilakukan dalam manajemen awal pasien dengan cedera multipel. FSF dapat terjadi pada dua kelompok usia. Pada usia muda, penyebabnya adalah trauma energy tinggi dan pada usia tua penyebabnya adalah trauma energy rendah. FSF juga dikaitkan dengan komorbiditas lain sehingga membutuhkan penilaian Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) secara cermat dan perawatan interdisipliner. Intermedullary Nailing (IM) merupakan tatalaksana yang paling umum dilakukan pada penanganan pasien yang stabil secara fisiologis. Tujuan fiksasi adalah penyembuhan dini dan pemulihan fungsional jangka panjang. Pengobatan FSF masa kini memiliki hasil yang sangat baik.

CURRENT CONCEPT AND MANAGEMENT OF FEMORAL SHAFT FRACTURES

ABSTRACT&#x0D; Environmental auditory exposure in a form of both enrichment and stressor environmental can differently modulate the development of auditory system Prenatal chronic noise exposure caused neurogenesis and neuroplasticity disorders in the brain's auditory pathway resulting in neurocognitive impairment. Meanwhile exposure to prenatal music positively modifies morphological and biochemical developments in the brain's auditory pathway that supports neurogenesis and neuroplasticity. This study aimed to determine the plasticity of brainstem nuclei after exposure to music, noise, and a combination of both. This research used an experimental method using 24 female chicks as subjects. Subjects were obtained from eggs after incubation, which were divided into 4 groups: control, music, noise, and combined noise and music. Brain stem nuclear plasticity was measured by total number of nuclei, neuronal nuclear area, and synaptophysin expression as parameters. Prenatal music exposure significantly increased the total number of neurons, neuronal nuclear area, and synaptophysin expression in brain stem nuclei (p &lt; 0.001), whereas combined and noise exposure significantly decreased these three plasticity parameters (p &lt; 0.001). In conclusion, prenatal music exposure potential to increase neuroplasticity of brainstem nuclei for better neurocognitive function&#x0D; &#x0D; ABSTRAK&#x0D; Paparan pendengaran lingkungan dalam bentuk enrichment dan stresor lingkungan dapat memodulasi perkembangan sistem pendengaran secara berbeda. Paparan kebisingan kronis prenatal menyebabkan gangguan neurogenesis dan neuroplastisitas pada jalur pendengaran otak sehingga mengakibatkan gangguan neurokognitif. Sementara itu, paparan musik prenatal secara positif mengubah perkembangan morfologi dan biokimia pada jalur pendengaran otak yang mendukung neurogenesis dan neuroplastisitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui plastisitas nucleus batang otak setelah paparan musik, kebisingan, dan kombinasi keduanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan 24 ekor anak ayam betina sebagai subjeknya. Subjek diperoleh dari telur setelah diinkubasi, yang terbagi dalam 4 kelompok: kontrol, musik, kebisingan, dan gabungan kebisingan dan musik. Plastisitas nukleus batang otak diukur dengan parameter jumah total nukleus, luas neuronal nuclear area, dan ekpresi synaptophysin. Paparan musik prenatal meningkatkan jumlah total neuron, luas neuronal nuclear area, dan ekspresi synaptophysin di inti batang otak secara signifikan (p&lt; 0,001), sedangkan paparan bising dan kombinasi secara signifikan menurunkan ketiga parameter plastisitas tersebut (p &lt; 0.001). Kesimpulannya, paparan musik prenatal berpotensi meningkatkan neuroplastisitas inti batang otak untuk fungsi neurokognitif yang lebih baik

EFFECT OF PRE-NATAL INTERMITTENT MONOTONOUS AND RHYTHMIC AUDITORY EXPOSURES ON BRAINSTEM NUCLEI PLASTICITY OF ONE DAY-OLD CHICK

ABSTRACT&#x0D; Psoriasis vulgaris is a chronic systemic inflammatory disease that causes various complications if it is not treated properly. Mean platelet volume (MPV) is a cheap, fast, and efficient marker for predicting the severity and complications of cardiovascular and metabolic syndrome in psoriasis vulgaris patients. The MPV value is also thought has effects on the frequency of recurrence in psoriasis vulgaris patients. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between MPV and severity using the PASI score and recurrence frequency in psoriasis vulgaris patients. This study used an observational analytic method with a cross sectional. The research respondents were 30 subjects. This study used the Pearson correlation test and the Spearman correlation test. The MPV value had a significant correlation with the disease severity (p= 0,00; r= 0,94) and the recurrence frequency (p= 0,00; r= 0,95) in psoriasis vulgaris patients. We concluded that the increaseased MPV value indicates a higher degree of severity and frequency of recurrence in psoriasis vulgaris patients.&#x0D; &#x0D; ABSTRAK&#x0D; Psoriasis vulgaris merupakan penyakit inflamasi kronis sistemik yang menyebabkan berbagai komplikasi apabila tidak mendapatkan terapi yang tepat. Mean platelet volume (MPV) adalah salah satu penanda yang murah, cepat dan efisien untuk memprediksi derajat keparahan dan komplikasi kardiovaskuler serta sindroma metabolik pada pasien psoriasis vulgaris. Nilai MPV juga diduga berpengaruh terhadap derajat keparahan dan frekuensi kekambuhan pada pasien psoriasis vulgaris. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan antara MPV dengan tingkat keparahan dengan menggunakan skor PASI dan frekuensi kekambuhan pada pasien psoriasis vulgaris. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Responden penelitian berjumlah 30 subjek. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson dan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa nilai MPV memiliki korelasi positif yang signifikan dengan derajat keparahan (p= 0,00; r= 0,94) dan frekuensi kekambuhan (p= 0,00; r= 0,95) pada pasien psoriasis vulgaris. KORELASI MEAN PLATELET VOLUME TERHADAP DERAJAT KEPARAHAN DAN FREKUENSI KEKAMBUHAN PADA PSORIASIS VULGARIS

ABSTRACT&#x0D; Occupational diseases are caused by the interaction of workers, workload, and work environment factors. This study aims to determine the correlation of worker factors with biomarkers of occupational exposure MT1a, GSTp1, and PSA. The research design used was comparative cross-sectional. The research subjects were 30 welding workers and 30 administrative office employees who were taken by purposive sampling. The variables studied were worker factors such as age and BMI, levels of the enzyme GSTp1, MT1a and PSA. Measurement of GSTp1, MT1a, and PSA in blood was performed using the sandwich ELISA method. Data analysis was performed using the Mann-Whitney test. The results of the study found that there were significant differences in age, BMI, and PSA levels in the two groups. There is no differences in GSTp1 and MT1a level between groups. We concluded that the PSA levels of the group of office workers were higher than those of the group of welding workshop workers, perhaps because the average age was older.&#x0D; &#x0D; ABSTRAK&#x0D; Penyakit akibat kerja disebabkan oleh adanya interaksi faktor pekerja, pekerjaan dan lingkungan kerja. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan karakteristik dan biomarker paparan lingkungan kerja seperti: MT1a, GSTp1 dan PSA antara pekerja bengkel las dan pekerja kantor administrasi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional. Subyek penelitian adalah 30 orang pekerja bengkel las dan 30 orang pekerja kantor administrasi yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Variabel yang diteliti adalah factor pekerja berupa usia dan IMT, kadar enzim GSTp1, MT1a dan PSA. Pengukuran GSTp1, MT1a dan PSA dalam darah dilakukan menggunakan metode ELISA sandwich. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan usia, IMT dan kadar PSA pada kedua kelompok, dan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan kadar GSTp1 dan MT1a antara kelompok. Kesimpulannya bahwa kadar PSA kelompok pekerja kantor lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok pekerja bengkel las, dimungkinkan karena rerata usia yang lebih tua.

ABSTRACT Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection is a global health problem with rapid transmission and variable prognosis. Oxygen saturation is an indicator for assessing the prognosis of COVID-19 infection. Viral infections are related to the immune system because they are self-limiting diseases. Vitamin D is considered able to improve the immune system through several pathways. There are differences in research results regarding vitamin D and respiratory tract infections. This study aims to determine the relationship between vitamin D adequacy and oxygen saturation in COVID-19 patients at X Surakarta Hospital. This research was an observational analysis with a cross-sectional design on 32 patients who had been treated for COVID-19 at RS X Surakarta. Data on oxygen saturation and vitamin D management were taken from medical records, while food consumption data was completed by filling in a formulary food frequency questionnaire (FFQ). Data analysis used the Chi-Square test (α=0.05). The research results showed that there was no significant relationship (p=0.055) between vitamin D adequacy and oxygen saturation in COVID-19 patients (p&gt;0.05). The conclusion of this study was no relation between vitamin D adequacy and oxygen saturation in COVID-19 patients. ABSTRAK Infeksi Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) merupakan permasalahan kesehatan global dengan penularan cepat dan prognosis bervariasi. Saturasi oksigen merupakan salah satu indikator untuk menilai prognosis infeksi COVID-19. Infeksi virus berkaitan dengan sistem imun karena bersifat self-limiting disease. Vitamin D dinilai dapat meningkatkan sistem imun melalui beberapa jalur. Terdapat perbedaan hasil penelitian mengenai vitamin D dan infeksi saluran pernapasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kecukupan vitamin D dengan saturasi oksigen pasien COVID-19 di RS X Surakarta. Penelitian ini bersifat analisis observasional dengan rancangan cross-sectional terhadap 32 pasien yang pernah dirawat COVID-19 di RS X Surakarta. Data saturasi oksigen dan tatalaksana vitamin D diambil dari rekam medis, sedangkan data konsumsi pangan dengan pengisian formular food frequency questionnaire (FFQ). Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square (α=0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan (p=0,055) antara kecukupan vitamin D dengan saturasi oksigen pada pasien COVID-19 (p&gt;0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa kecukupan vitamin D tidak berhubungan dengan saturasi oksigen pasien COVID-19.
