ACS ES&T Engineering is a specialist journal that publishes high-impact research and review/perspective articles in the field of environmental technology and engineering through a rigorous peer-review process. The journal aims to serve as an international forum for research and innovation, welcoming contributions on materials, technologies, processes, data analytics, and engineering systems that focus on managing, protecting, and remediating air, water, and soil quality, as well as waste treatment and resource recovery. We encourage research contributions that support effective decision-making within complex engineered systems, and we welcome articles that provide insights informed by mechanistic science and analytics describing complex environmental engineering systems. We accept papers that present experimental and/or theoretical methods grounded in engineering principles, integrated with core knowledge from other disciplines.
