Acta Neurologica Scandinavica aims to publish high-quality original clinical, diagnostic, or experimental manuscripts in the field of neuroscience. The journal serves as an international forum for disseminating information and promoting scientific research and practice in this discipline. We welcome papers in English, particularly those that bring new knowledge and observations from treatment or technical applications related to a wide range of neurological and neurodegenerative diseases. Articles related to basic neuroscience will also be published to enhance the current understanding of such diseases. Special topics will be prioritized for review. Due to the significance and urgency of certain papers, clinical reviews will be limited to no more than two pages, and clinically relevant reviews of broad interest will also be considered. We encourage professional debates in the form of 'letters to the editor.' All submitted manuscripts will be evaluated by appropriately qualified reviewers to ensure they fall within the overall scope of the journal.

Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 1 author

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors
