Acta Psychiatrica Scandinavica is an international forum dedicated to disseminating information that advances the science and practice of psychiatry. We particularly focus on facilitating communication between clinical psychiatrists and psychiatric researchers regarding frontline research. Traditionally, Acta Psychiatrica Scandinavica has primarily concentrated on clinical psychiatry; however, translational psychiatry is becoming an increasingly important topic for our readers. Therefore, the journal welcomes submissions of manuscripts based on clinical and translational research (e.g., preclinical and epidemiological studies). When preparing manuscripts based on translational research for submission to Acta Psychiatrica Scandinavica, authors should emphasize the clinical significance of the research questions and findings. Manuscripts based solely on preclinical research (e.g., animal models) are generally not considered for publication in the journal.

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
