Acta Physiologica Sinica (APS) is sponsored by the Chinese Association for Physiological Sciences and the Shanghai Institutes of Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). It is published bimonthly by Science Press, China. APS primarily publishes original research articles in the field of physiology, as well as contributions from other biomedical disciplines and proceedings from conferences and symposia related to physiological sciences. In addition to 'Original Research Articles', the journal features columns such as 'Brief Review', 'Rapid Communication', 'Experimental Technique', and 'Letter to the Editor'. Articles are published in either Chinese or English, depending on the authors' submission.
