The journal "Applied Radiation and Isotopes" is dedicated to publishing high-quality original research papers on nuclear technology and its peaceful applications in the fields of chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biology, medicine, safety, engineering, and industry. The journal covers a wide range of areas, including Earth, planetary, and environmental sciences, as well as dosimetry. Nuclear technology is defined in the broadest sense, and both experimental and theoretical submissions are welcome. These studies involve alpha and beta particles, X-rays, gamma rays, neutrons, and other nuclear particles from various sources, including radioactive nuclides, synchrotron sources, cyclotrons, reactors, and radiation from the natural environment. The journal aims to publish papers of significant importance to an international readership, emphasizing novelty and scientific impact. The editors reserve the right to reject papers that do not meet these standards, regardless of external review. Papers involving radiation processing, where radiation is used to induce biological, chemical, or physical changes in materials, should be directed to our sister journal, "Radiation Physics and Chemistry."

Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 1 author

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors

Here are examples of references for authored and edited books.
