Energy Environment Efficiency Resources Globalization

This article focuses on the multi-generational social analysis of a region in Mexico that represents an important energy cluster. In general, social participation in energy sector projects needs to be strengthened to increase regional competitiveness. Data collection was carried out through a representative sample survey. Important findings on social confidence and energy poverty were obtained, which serve as a starting point for the design of new competitiveness initiatives for the energy cluster.

In this paper, the authors will present the hardware and IT&amp;C structure of the synchrophasor technology and the phasor data concentrator (PDC) of the Transport and System Operator (TSO) Transelectrica’s new Wide Area Measurement System (WAMS). Also, they will write a brief overview of these applications and the development possibilities within the platform from an engineering point of view. Moreover, it will be introduced the possibility of a new enhanced hybrid state estimator, and the link between European Awareness System (EAS) and WAMS.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE NEW ROMANIAN WIDE AREA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

20HyGrid is the first blending pilot project developed in Romania, in the context of the climate neutrality strategy. The project aimed to verify the compatibility of current distribution networks, of house installations/ appliances using a mixture of natural gas and 20vol.% hydrogen, noxious reduction and collaboration with authorities for developing legislative framework for green gases distribution through the current natural gas infrastructure. The tests analyzed both the functioning of existing appliances and burning/combustion process. No technical risk was identified when operating with this mixture (without appliances modifications). The significant reduction of emissions confirms the results of similar European projects. Romanian gas infrastructure is a key component of energy transition.

THE ROLE OF THE 20HYGRID PROJECT AND GAS DISTRIBUTION INFRASTRUCTURE IN ROMANIA'S ENERGY TRANSITION

Based on a geographical material involving: the Bouguer anomaly map calculated for average densities, three simulations of the regional and local successive anomaly separated by square networks with sides of 1, 2 and 4 km, the structure of the gravity anomaly was analyzed namely: the distribution of the belts of the major gradient, the regional anomaly (morphology of the regional anomaly, separation degree of the regional anomaly, presence of a local anomaly with deep geological sources, gravimetric effects of maximum), the local anomaly (modification of the morphology and the intensity of the terms of the local anomaly, modification of the orientation systems of the great axes of the local terms, variation of the contours of the maximum and minimum zones with the investigation depth), the correction profiles transverse to the major geological structures of the area. The gravimetric elements analyzed allowed the simulations (the structural geological-gravimetric maps regarding the architecture of both of the crystalline basement and of the overlying sedimentary deposits). The tectonic data contained in this map give information about: the structure of the crystalline, the structure of sedimentary deposits, the causal relations between the structure of sedimentary deposits and the structure of the substratum.

GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF EASTERN SUBPARPATHIANS IN MUNTENIA AS REFLECTED BY THE GRAVITY ANOMALY

The research carried out in this paper focuses on the study of the integration of photovoltaic panels into buildings, a solution known as BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics), which represents a new form of solar energy use: these are building materials, but these also facilitate the generation of solar electricity on additional surfaces and allow an optimisation of the overall operation as a main source of electricity and can also be seamlessly integrated into the building envelope and its components. In the paper, the opportunities for development of building-integrated photovoltaic systems at thermal power enterprises were analysed, using concrete data of the JSC "CET-Nord" in the Republic of Moldova as an example for further research, as well as determining the potential photovoltaic capacity of administrative and production buildings of the enterprise. This will help to improve the understanding of the impact of BIPV systems on the energy transition of cities and on the notion of near-zero energy cities in Europe, by identifying possible future approaches to BIPV that can be used by energy specialists as well as architects and urban planners to assess how much of the energy used by buildings could be provided by BIPV systems when implemented as building envelope materials across the entire building envelope.
